A GIFT FOR THE DIVINE

A meditation based upon Psalm 29

It’s the season of gift-giving

Maybe you’d like to consider what you will give to the Holy One

What might be a present that is appropriate for the Divine

How about you wrap up your praise and give as a gift

Or you could make a list of all the ways

Divine power has been revealed in your life

and give that as a gift

Maybe you have heard the Holy One speak

and your life has never been the same

You could wrap up a list of ways that powerful voice

has manifested itself in your life

You will know the perfect gift when you see it

And the Divine will love receiving it
