A blessing based upon Psalm 147

May your joy bubble up in song, and beautiful praise

May the Holy One gather you up, mother-like

and kiss your boo-boos

Know that you are the most important thing to the Holy

Yes, the same Holy One who even knows and names each star

whose greatness, might and power are beyond understanding

You are still the one who belongs to the Holy

This should put a song in your soul

and thanksgiving in your heart

Make your list of things for which you are thankful

then let the Divine know

because the Holy One cares more for your thanks

than anything else

May your praise overflow

May you be strengthened

May you find peace and sustenance

May the Divine Word be your shield and avenger
