HOLY SPARKS

A blessing based upon Psalm 97

The Divine is sovereign over the earth

which is reason for for joy

Even the islands are glad

The Holy One wears the atmosphere like a cloak

and is enthroned on a foundation of righteousness and justice

Holy sparks emanate from the Divine

Everywhere you look, you can see the Holy One

Why would you worship anything else

given the majesty and power of the Divine

May your love be for the Holy One above all else

May you turn away from evil

for the Holy One is your Deliverer

May you walk in light

May your heart be glad

May you rejoice and give thanks

as you remember the Divine
