Take a stand, O Holy One, and be our fair judge

Not like those judges who take bribes

Be our defender

Be on the side of those who really need you

those who are weak

the orphans

the humble

the destitute

Rescue us

It’s dark down here, and we don’t understand our way around

We’re wandering in darkness without you

Come, stand up for us
