Reverend Jann Osborn began her tenure as Co-Pastor with West Point Christian Church in January of 2022, serving along side with Lisa Wynn. Prior to her formal appointment as Co-Pastor, she had been filling the pulpit for several months when Pastor Lisa was away. Rev. Jann has served in various full time ministry positions since 1999. She is also serving as a chaplain for Good Shepherd Hospice in the Oklahoma City metro area. She has served in various full time ministry positions since 1999. Prior to being called to ministry full time she worked for the Child and Adult Care Food Program, and in various other roles such as a dietetic technician, cafeteria manager and early childhood teacher. Rev. Jann was born and raised in Nebraska. Rev. Jann received her Master of Divinity degree from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and is still a Husker fan at heart.

Rev. Jann is married to Kim Osborn, and they have two children and three grandchildren. The Osborns enjoy traveling, spending time with their grandchildren and spoiling their two dogs, Abby and Sally.

Reverend Debi Powell-Maxwell was born in Tiffin, Ohio, the fourth of five siblings. She lived in several different states before High School and finally landed in Maryland where she earned her BS degree in Music Education from Frostburg State University. Oklahoma became her home in 1996, and she went on to receive her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, OK. She is married to Kyle Maxwell, also a minister and pilot, and together they have three grown children and five grandchildren.

 

As a result of being baptized Methodist, confirmed Episcopal, and ordained in the Christian Church (DOC), her faith journey has granted her the unusual opportunity to study, worship, and collaborate within the framework of several different theological traditions.

She is a third career minister, having been a band/choral/drama director for 14 years; Minister of Music for 14 years; and Pastoral Minister for 14 years…and counting!
